I love making one-of-a-kind jewelry, talismans and power pieces that offer you connection, meaning and substance. My work is inspired by patterns in nature. It is “gritty and pretty,” grounded and contemporary yet evocative of something ancient. Each piece is fabricated by hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques. Some themes in my pieces include the use of iconic shapes and portals, repeating geometric elements, pictorial stones and organic textures. My work also features gold accents, which recall the light that it is always within, whether we see it or not. In my world, creating jewelry is magic and healing, capturing a bit of spirit in beautiful form. Objects hold energy. Each person can consciously use what she adorns herself with to connect with her essence, know herself more fully, and feed herself with intention and aliveness. Each piece I offer embodies a unique character, personality and vitality. It’s my deepest honor that my creations grow with the people who wear them, and like any well-loved objects, get better with age and use.
