Jeff Watts

Jeff Watts is a self-taught artist/painter living in Forestville, CA. He is inspired by the techniques of the old masters and takes full advantage of the movement of the paint and visible brush marks. Whether it’s an animal, person or a flower, Jeff considers all of his works to be portraits. While maintaining a sense of realism in his paintings, he always wants the observer to know they are viewing a painting.
Commissions are welcomed and encouraged.
For the past two decades Jeff has been the art director for a major carousel manufacturer. He works closely with clients to develop and achieve their vision of a themed carousel, including animals and custom murals. These carousels can be seen internationally in The Philippines, Mexico, Universal Studios Japan and Movieworld in Germany, along with the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, LA and other locations around the country. Closer to home are carousels at Traintown in Sonoma, The Nut Tree in Vacaville and Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento.
